I've always believed that beautiful design isn't about spending the most — it's about knowing what matters.
I love bringing together investment pieces with more accessible finds, timeless elements with something unexpected, and creating a result that feels collected rather than overly designed. Some things deserve to be chosen for a lifetime; others can simply be beautiful, relevant, and right for the moment. Knowing the difference is part of the process — and part of the fun.
Whether I'm working with interior, fashion, or curation, I look beyond the price tag and consider the whole picture: quality, proportion, personality, and how everything works together. Sometimes the simplest choice is the best one.

A Little About How I got There...
Design has been part of my life for as long as I can remember, although the path that brought me here has never been completely linear.
I began with architecture in Brazil, where I learned to see the world through proportion, structure, and space. Interior design in the United States introduced me to the more personal side of design — how the spaces around us influence the way we live and feel. Later, studying visual merchandising and fashion styling in Milan expanded that perspective even further, bringing together color, texture, proportion, and the art of curation.
That combination of creativity, structure, and curiosity eventually became OBBO — a place where interiors, fashion, and curation come together naturally.
And yes, I’ll probably notice if something is half an inch off-center.

A complete transformation—functional,
warm, and truly my own. A home that reflects not just my taste, but my values. I believe incredible spaces are created by intention, not by excess.
I believe in mixing affordable pieces with carefully chosen investment pieces to create spaces that feel curated, personal, and enduring.
At that time, around 2012, I was obsessed with mid-century modern style. I was lucky to work directly with furniture vendors in my job, so I got considerable discounts on the original pieces :). The remaining items were from the magnificent Scandinavian-style store IKEA!! The combination of the two shaped the final design of my condo, fitting my budget.
Great design is about balance—form and function, comfort and sophistication, investment and intention. I love combining accessible pieces with meaningful investments—knowing where to save and where to elevate. It’s a balance of practicality and beauty, function and emotion.
Your home should tell your story, support your lifestyle, and elevate the everyday. That mindset, born in my first home, continues to guide every project I take on.
A $40k Transformation...
Where it began...
Every designer has a first project that changes everything. Mine was my first home.
A dated space with good bones and endless potential became the laboratory for my ideas, my mistakes, and my growing belief that thoughtful design can elevate everyday living. I renovated every inch of it—and all stages of the project—all by myself (designed, produced the construction drawings, selected materials, FF&E, managed the project, and handled construction administration), learning, experimenting, and discovering.
That single project turned into a $40,000 transformation that taught me the power of smart design, intentional choices, and believing in the vision—even when it felt too big for the budget.
That home shaped the way I design today: with heart, intention, and a fearless approach.
